Thank U Mom Mount Austin

“Thank U Mom” is a Korean restaurant located in Mount Austin. As you can see in the restaurant’s sign board, they are famous for their Korean style oven baked chicken. It has a very nice decorated interior and cozy environment with lights hanging on top of every table. 

They have a big screen playing K-pop songs MV that gives the customer a feeling that they are having their meal in Korea.

They are a restaurant that provides baked chicken, baked rice, Tteokbokki, pizza, salads and desserts.

From the menu, it is clearly shown that they have different flavours of baked chicken. They are Original, Chili Sauce, Hot Spicy Sauce, Blackbean Sauce, Honey and Garlic Sauce, and Teriyaki and Garlic Sauce. 

Prices range from RM55 to RM61 but the boneless ones will be slightly expensive.

The one that we tried is the Teriyaki and Garlic Sauce baked chicken. There is a slight crisp on the grain crusted outside and the flesh is sweet, juicy and tender.

Next, we have also tried their famous Korean snack which is Tteokbokki with Mozzarella Cheese and spicy sauce which cost us RM23. The portion of this dish is quite big, and it is quite fulling as it contains cheese. It tastes like heaven when the Tteokbokki is eaten together with the cheese. 

Before I forget! Thank U Mom provides appetiser for the customers for free!

Next, we had the Tomato Cheese Risotto which has a Sweet and fresh taste that is enriched with cheese and flavor! It is an italian homemade tomato cheese fried rice.
